MORNING

Start the day by putting your best paw forward with a glow up for your best friend at Love My Human Townhouse  (330 King’s Rd). Opt for a simple ‘wash & tidy’, or enjoy the works with a ‘full groom’ plus additional ‘spaw’ treatments. Follow the pamper session with a scrumptious breakfast there. There are lots of delicious treats from the human or doggie menu with a choice of homemade pup-cakes and succulent, meaty treats to tuck in to.

If they’ve been on their best behaviour, head a few doors down to pick out toys and treats from Love My Human Townhouse’s sister shop, Love My Human (308 King’s Rd). They have a wonderful range of luxury leather goods from collars to carry bags, beds & bowls, shampoos and more.

AFTERNOON

Walk along the King’s Road browsing an array of independent boutiques. Try White Coco for cosy cashmere, Penelope Chilvers for stylish Spanish craftsmanship and Kaya Nuka for one-of-a-kind jewellery and accessories.

Take a sniff stop in Dovehouse Green, a tranquil garden that provides a quiet place for you and your pooch. Resident dog owners of Paultons Square, can enjoy the privacy of its Georgian terraced garden for walkies closer to home. Or if the weather is on your side, take a wander further down towards the Chelsea Embankment and soak up the sights of the Thames and Albert Bridge. That’ll lead you to the beautiful grounds of Battersea Park. Let them off the leash for a play and sit yourself down for a moment to rest your feet.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, head back over onto Chelsea Bridge and make your way to one of the many dog-friendly restaurants on the Estate. For a casual bite, newly opened Pizza Pilgrims (219 King’s Road) will transport you to Capri while you treat yourself to a slice (indoor and outdoor seating available). Or for something a little more sophisticated, stop for a spot of Afternoon Tea at Bluebird Chelsea (350 King’s Rd) with a selection of delicate sandwiches and sweet bakes – their cafe and courtyard are open all year round.

EVENING

End the day with dinner & drinks – stroll back along either the King’s Road to Cadogan Arms (298 King’s Rd) or nip down to The Pig’s Ear (35 Old Church St) for cosy ambiance and dishes that celebrate British produce and provenance.  Newly opened Fantômas, serves up European plates infused with Asian flavours.

If you are heading back home via South Kensington station, St Luke’s Gardens is open until dusk and makes the perfect spot for one last walkies before bedtime.

Events for Dogs

Each year, the Sloane Stanley Estate welcomes and supports Strutz, a fashion show like no other. This annual extravaganza, is a celebration of community and canine couture, giving fluffy fashionistas the chance to strut their stuff on the catwalk.

This year was a truly unforgettable day. The neighbourhood came together and stylish pups brought joy on the runway. All to support the incredible work of PADS Foundation and All Dogs Matter.

As well as the main show, there were a selection of stalls and pop ups from the likes of Azteca, Jeroboams, By Teddy, Caboodle and The Country Dog Hotel – to name a few!

We hope to see you at our next show!
