In this article, we highlight just a few of the ways you can celebrate the King’s coronation.

A memorable three days in London

London will take its lively nature to the next level on the weekend of the coronation, with pubs staying open an additional two hours over the three days. The awaited coronation concert at Windsor Castle will take place on Sunday 7th of May, and broadcast live on the BBC for those wanting to watch from the comfort of their homes or the local pub.

Iconic landmarks around the capital, as well as many buildings across the UK, will take part in ‘Lighting Up The Nation’, an event where some of the most memorable buildings in the country will light up in celebration of the momentous event.

For those looking to give back to their community, bank holiday Monday has now been named ‘ The Big Help Out’ where everyone is encouraged to help a local or national charity, a community or simply promote a good cause to help better the lives of those around us. This is a truly British celebration and we hope many of you get involved in some way or another.

Live like a King at 11 Cadogan Gardens

The royal treatment is not far from reality when you book a suite for two nights at Chelsea’s most luxurious hotel. This special offer is in celebration of the King’s coronation, and we want you to experience the best that our hotel has to offer.

Raise a royal toast and join 11 Cadogan Gardens for a weekend of revelry in honour of the coronation of King Charles III. Only a short walk away from Buckingham Palace in the centre of the capital, a break at this brilliant Chelsea hotel brings you to the heart of the most patriotic party of the century – all while enjoying their exclusive champagne cocktail made with Laurent-Perrier.

Catch the screening of the King’s coronation

With thanks to the dedicated team at St Cuthbert’s Church, the big screen is ready to show the coronation live as if you were in Westminster Abbey yourself. Join the lovely church for a coffee, cake and a toast to the memorable historic occasion.

Keep your eyes peeled as other screening opportunities come to light in London, but St Cuthbert’s Church is a beautiful, unmissable hotspot to elevate your experience.

Philbeach Gardens celebration

If there is one thing the royals enjoy most, it’s a delectable garden party. Join the Philbeach Gardens community in aid of charity and raise money for The Earl’s Court Community Trust. Your £5 ticket will go towards a wonderful local charity and gets you a welcome drink to celebrate the coronation in style.

The Earl’s Court Community Trust supports various community events, from local theatre shows that support over 100 children to learn through performing arts and providing a valuable space for a local women’s charity, looking after domestic violence victims.

The event is open to all on Monday 8th of May and will kick off the coronation celebrations. Between 4pm and 7pm, come along for an unforgettable evening of great entertainment, alcoholic beverages, snacks and community spirit. All refreshments will be served on a ‘donate what you can’ basis to give back to the loving community. Don’t miss out on a party of a lifetime!
