A word from the artist

“2021 started amidst many of the uncertainties experienced in the previous year. London was in yet another lockdown, many of us had already lost family or friends, and isolation fermented a strong feeling that we were not only losing but that we were also alone.

This mural, like all that preceded it, had to be uplifting and joyful. However it also needed to remind passers by there were reasons to stay sturdy and confident in better days, and above all we were fighting and overcoming this adversity together.

Almost a year later, we still cant say that the battle is over, but we can certainly say together we are winning.”
