Work: Imagination, community, and the quiet beauty of Christmas
-
This 30-metre mural was imagined by Adélaïde Aronio, a pluridisciplinary artist, in collaboration with the girls of Francis Holland Prep.
The project was inspired by the school’s values of love, hope, compassion, thankfulness, humility, and courage.
Together, they designed a festive composition celebrating the spirit of Christmas through a series of simple, symbolic forms — a donkey, an angel, a Christmas tree, robins, plants, and stars — each distinct yet connected through rhythm and space.
All are painted in a single shade of blue on a white background, creating a sense of unity and calm. The simplicity of the palette invites the eye to focus on the purity of line and form.
