The event was created by our tenants, Love My Human, whose store is located on King’s Road Chelsea. The dog show takes place every November to raise essential funds for local charities, including:
- Dogs Trust
- Pets As Therapy
- Soi Dogs
- Wild at Heart Foundation
- PDSA
Strutz 2018
The first annual Strutz Charity Canine Fashion Show was hosted at Dovehouse Green, on Sunday 4th November.
Damian Greenish, Chairman of Trustees for Sloane Stanley, was MC for the day. Busaba Eathai was on hand to provide a selection of spring rolls and other Thai favourites – and Timothy Oulton generously hosted the afterparty.
Love My Human has been a firm favourite with pet families here since the summer. Stylish hounds of all shapes and sizes make their way down to the grooming parlour for a wash, cut and blow-dry.
Owners wandered the area to enjoy the surrounding cafés, bars, restaurants, galleries and stores, ready to collect their finely-groomed best friends at the allotted hour.
Strutz was such a phenomenal success that Strutz 2019 was greenlit that very day.
Strutz 2019
We welcomed back Love My Human’s Struz for its second year running.
Over 45 dogs strutted the dogwalk, with hundreds of guests and owners bidding in a silent auction. The event generated over £2,000 for charity.
Sophie Green from The Guardian dropped by to capture the mood. Knight Frank and Humble Pizza also supported the occasion – and we look forward to the next event being even bigger.
