Every year the square is full of joyous cheer, but Christmas in Chelsea has gotten even more exciting this year as more events are introduced to our neighbourhood for all residents and tourists to experience.
Every year without fail, our neighbourhood is filled with beautiful glistening lights, the scent of cinnamon and warm home comforts. Along with a wholesome festive market, there is plenty of interactive festive displays, with more unmissable events than ever before for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
Until Christmas Eve, you can book tickets to see Father Christmas at the Chelsea Christmas Grotto, where the children can hear Santa’s festive tales and even receive a gift for just £15 per child, with a 50p donation to the K&C Foundation. Book your tickets here.
Until Christmas Eve, Sloane Square’s winter terrace is a must-visit if you want to get into the Christmas spirit. From tasty treats to warming drinks, the immersive display has everything you need to spend the day for London’s most holy night.
With such an honourable heritage to look after, we love to embrace history here at Sloane Stanley. One of the world’s oldest winter sports, Bavarian Curling, will be at the Sloane Square winter terrace this year until Christmas Eve. Prices start from £7.50, and group bookings can be made here.
If you have visited London over the winter period before, you will know the incredible lighting displays wow tourists and residents alike every year. You can immerse yourself in the lighting experience from 5 pm every evening as you pass through the streets of Chelsea.
With thanks to Royal Hospital Chelsea, a lovely Christmas Carol Service will go ahead on Sunday the 18th of December, free to all members of the public. On Christmas Eve, a special service will begin at 6 pm.
