The brand’s new location will offer unique products, including Gelato Jars and Gelato Cakes, alongside their world-famous trademarked flavour, the Buontalenti, which is dedicated to the Architect Bernardo Buontalenti – who invented the first Florentine gelato in the mid-1500s.

Inspired by the Renaissance period, the Fulham Road location is to be designed in partnership with the Florentine creative director, Ilaria Legato, and interior designer, Cosimo Bonciani. Reflecting the theme of Badiani’s Notting Hill site, but with a peach colour scheme, all furniture will be handcrafted in Tuscany – tailor-made for Badiani. In addition, the brand’s latest site will expand on their dine-in offer with space for 30 covers on the ground floor and an extra 30 seats in a private space downstairs for bookable parties.

Hannah Grievson, Property Director at Sloane Stanley, commented:

“Badiani is a wonderful brand to add to the existing assortment of eateries available on the Fulham Road, this Spring. We’re pleased to home their latest parlour which will offer our visitors an interesting assortment of traditional Italian gelato flavours. I envisage Fulham Road as a smart spot for this expanding brand, with its vibrant catchment situated within the bustling Chelsea borough.”

Paolo Pomposi, Head of Production for Badiani, added: “We started our London story by serving our products in third-party restaurants throughout the capital, and it was obvious to us that the test was a success and London diners adored our distinctive flavours – especially our signature flavour, The Buontalenti. The Chelsea catchment was always a target location for us and with its chic variety of food and beverage operators, it really resonates with our brand. With our award-winning gelato maker, we like to think of ourselves as leaders in the sweet treats industry.”
