Adalberto Lonardi
A word from the artist
“The work represented the importance of home as a safe warm place to dwell but also as a metaphor to connect and celebrate our personal heritages, families, and traditions especially during this time of displacement.
Using the existing architecture of the building, I represented a house. From right to left I created a series of frames with four home scenes: the living room, the kitchen, and another dining room. Each of the spaces features items from local shops like the beautiful, pickled jars by Farm Fetch.
I used the columns as floral ornaments to give rhythm to the piece and the existing door as a decorated entrance of the house”
