Sloane Stanley And The Chelsea Art Society 2022

It was an absolute pleasure for Sloane Stanley to sponsor the Chelsea Art Society at 340 King’s Road again this year.

Chelsea In Colour was the theme for 2022 and the first exhibition presided over by their new president Alice Hall.

Rachel Campbell-Johnston had the unenviable job of choosing the winning painting. Even with her vast experience as art critic for the Times for the past 20 years it must have been a very difficult decision.

After giving due consideration to all the amazing entrants the prize of £1,000 and the Sloane Medal went to Lucy Marks for her painting Into The Trees.
