ABOUT SLOANE STANLEY

The Sloane Stanley Estate has been part of Chelsea, London since 1717 and remains a family owned business today. The Estate is now a mixed portfolio of commercial and residential properties all run from the Estate Office, conveniently situated within walking distance of our properties.

We know how important it is to work with an experienced, professional landlord who understands and takes their responsibilities seriously. We were one of the pioneers in Pop Ups and have had units dedicated to short term lets for over 10 years. We have a dedicated commercial team to look after you, aided by our porters, and a 24hr emergency service just in case.

FAQ'S

Can I set up the day before, or pack up the day after

This is a very strict no. You may only leave items in the unit on the days that you have rented it. We hope that you think this is a fair way to manage things, as you wouldn’t want to move in and find another tenant had left their items in the shop to collect later.

Is there Wi-fi?

Wi-fi is not provided in the unit (yet!), many of our tenants use a dongle.

Can I put holes in the wall?

The walls need to be restored to the condition they were in when you rented the unit. Many of our units have recently been refurbished and the wall are white, and without holes or marks. Stickers are a popular option, as are picture hanging strips and free standing display furniture.

Is cleaning provided?

Most units have a vacuum cleaner, but we do not provide cleaning as part of the standard package. We can provide a quote for ongoing cleaning, or for an end of tenancy clean. You will need to leave the unit in the condition it was in when rented (i.e. completely clean and clear).

What are the opening hours for the space?

This is totally up to you, all we ask is that you observe any trading regulations and are mindful of neighbours when you hold evening events.

How many sets of keys will we have?

We usually issue our tenants with two sets of keys.

Is there a minimum rental period?

The units are available for a minimum of 2 weeks, with most tenants booking in for a month.

What insurance do I need?

As the landlord, all we require is that you hold Public Liability Insurance cover to a minimum of £10 million for the duration of the tenancy.
