Spring Mural

This season is starting out very bright despite the changeable weather. Sol Sato is the latest in a series of artists painting outdoors to shake up the King’s Road street scene. The underpinning concept is on the Arts & Crafts movement which happened between 1880 and 1920. At the same time as Britain was bringing industrialisation to the world a famous group of designers and artists were pushing back and hailing the importance of individuality and hand crafted designs. Foremost is William Morris and Chelsea was a centre for some of the best known and loved ideals. We are celebrating the times and bringing in the more modern and boldness of today’s styling. We have supported the project since its inception to bring colour and interest to this part of the King’s Road. Walk on by and watch as the scenes unfold.
