Neighbourhood collaboration – STRUTZ II

Last year Love My Human celebrated their first year of grooming dogs and cats on the Sloane Stanley Estate. They immediately brought another ‘ah factor’ to the area when owners and their best friends walked in to be styled and groomed in the most ethical way.

We worked with them to come up with an idea for bringing some theatre to King’s Road and last year we supported their launch of STRUTZ on Dovehouse Green. The day was a great success with around 200 arriving to watch the charity dog walk. Many of the dog models have several thousand Instagram followers. This year it’s back and even bigger, with over 45 dogs lining up to strut their stuff in this season’s best, most stylish and functional clothing. Each dog is perfectly matched to their outfit. Comfort and wellbeing is a priority.

A silent auction with over 60 items brings even more fun to the afternoon. The two impactful charities that STRUTZ is raising funds for this year are Wild At Heart Foundation and PDSA. Tickets are on sale here and you can make a donation before or on the day.

This year Knight Frank, one of the most longstanding and successful Estate Agents in the area, will be supporting the event and bringing their hot drinks trolley and Humble Pizza, one of the Estate’s newest arrivals, will be serving pizza.

The artwork has been provided by Antonio Rodrigues Jnr who is also the latest artist to feature on The Chelsea Fire Station art installation that Sloane Stanley has supported since its inception. We are also grateful to St Luke’s Church for allowing us to use the Dovehouse Green space for the event.
