All Paintings Great And Small

Following on from the success of her first London pop-up exhibition last year, Kitty  North returns to the Kings Road this Autumn with an exhibition of colourful  Yorkshire Dales landscapes alongside her Chelsea canvases.

When the coronavirus pandemic hit, Kitty found herself locked down at the home studio  she created in the Dales village of Arncliffe. It provided a peaceful haven amidst the  chaotic news that unfolded.

All of a sudden, paintings filled with tourists milling around Arncliffe’s Village Green drawn  by the magic of James Herriot and Emmerdale, were replaced with locals contemplating  their isolation, alongside the sheep and cattle that inhabit the Dales.

Meet up with Yorkshire in Chelsea. Lose yourself in the wilds of Littondale, with rolling hills  and winding rivers, whilst a calm prevails in the Wharfedale villages of Burnsall and  Grassington, and around the iconic Priory at Bolton Abbey.

There is space in all our hearts for a little wilderness and the glorious escapism that only  art can

bring. What better time to immerse yourself in Kitty’s work.

ALL PAINTINGS GREAT AND SMALL contrasts city and countryside in oil, acrylic and  watercolour. Alongside her lockdown paintings of Yorkshire, Kitty has continued with her  depictions of Chelsea, her home from home.

The exhibition is showing Thursday 29th October to Sunday 8th November 2020  at 340 King’s Road London, SW3 5UZ (near Bluebird) Open 10am-6pm including  weekends.  For further information, images or interviews with Kitty North, please contact  art@kittynorth.com / 07894 797300.
